When I first cleared the normal difficulty, I thought it was a good game.
The balance between each choice is also good, and unlike other balanced games, the results of each choice are shown directly to the player in most cases so that they can be felt.
However, after entering the Expert difficulty, that is, the main game, and seeing a few endings, my thoughts changed.
The choices were repetitive and unbalanced.
The endings were like, "Yeah, that's a lie, let's start over from the beginning," and "You've cleared the normal difficulty, so now clear the main game on expert difficulty," which made the game even more boring and frustrating. (Because most of the endings were things that denied what the player had done so far.)
독특한 노트 출력 방식을 가지고 있으며, 두 개의 수록곡을 믹스한 곡을 플레이 할 수 있는 리듬 게임.
좋았던 점은 앞서 언급한 대로 노트 출력 방식 및 연출이 독특하다. 레인 하나에 키가 하나씩 할당되는 것이 아닌 전체적으로 레인이 크게 두 갈래로 나뉘고 그 갈래마다도 좌우로 레인이 나뉜 뒤, 각각 레인의 왼쪽과 오른쪽에 키가 하나씩 할당된다. 그래서 왼쪽 갈래의 우측 레인으로 내려오는 노트와 오른쪽 갈래의 우측 레인으로 내려오는 노트를 키 하나로 쳐야 된다. 이로 인해 간혹 뇌정지가 올 때도 있으나 플레이하면서 익숙해지면 재밌게 즐길 수 있다. 여기에 각 갈래 사이드로 양 옆의 시프트키로 누르는 노트도 내려오는데 이를 누를 시 레인이 특정 방향으로 움직이거나 합쳐지는 등의 화려한 연출들도 볼 수 있다. 이러한 독특한 플레이 방식 외에도 개인적으로 좋았던 것은 두 곡을 매쉬업한 곡을 플레이 가능하다는 것이다. 각 곡마다 매쉬업할 수 있는 곡 목록 중에서 하나를 골라 플레이가 가능한데, 각 곡의 멜로디와 리듬으로 노트가 내려올 때가 있고 두 곡이 합쳐져 새로운 노트가 내려오는 구간도 있어 새로운 재미를 느낄 수 있었다. 그 외 사운드 옵션이나 노트 옵션 등이 세세한 점도 긍정적인 부분이었다.
아쉬운 점은 먼저 시프트 단노트가 개인적으로 눈에 잘 들어오지 않았다. 일반 키 노트는 레인 위에 표시되고, 시프트 장노트도 얇은 선과 함께 다소 투명한 면으로 표시되는 반면에 시프트 단노트는 레인 바깥에만 표시되고 레인 위에는 표시가 안 되니 간혹 레인 위에 집중하다가 놓칠 때가 있었다. 다음으로 튜토리얼에서 화면에 보이는 시온, 레이의 텍스트와 음성이 다른 부분이 있는 점도 아쉬웠다. 음성으로는 튜토리얼은 끝났다는데 계속해서 튜토리얼이 진행되기도 하였다.
플레이 방식도 기존 다른 리듬 게임에서 보지 못한 것이라 신선했고 무엇보다 매쉬업 시스템이 매력적이다. 후에 수록곡이 더 다양해지고 볼륨이 커진다면 더욱 빛을 발할 시스템이라 생각한다.
