“Then let’s keep doing this.
Until we both die.
We’ll keep looking into each other’s eyes.
So, do you
think that Iexist?
Have you ever been asked such a question while playing a game?
Well, I haven’t.
This is the first time...
Usually, characters in visual novels
exist to gain my favor as the player or to progress the story by solving events.
That’s the general rule.
The protagonist of this game is quite different.
She constantly questions her own existence
and demands that I prove her existence.
It feels a bit unsettling, like she’s a typical ‘menhera’.
Normally, if it were me?
I’m a human detector for unsettling vibes, so I’d normally distance myself.
But she’s so pretty that I can’t help but follow along.
After all, looks are the reason for everything.
But the funny thing is this game
isn’t just a visual novel where you flirt with the pretty Lilith
like this.
We make cakes together,
travel through the RPG world she created,
go on our first date at an amusement park,
and even play doctor,
but she constantly makes me ponder existence and self.
And so, the beautiful girl in the game
keeps asking meabout existentialism.
At this point, I don’t know if I’m dating her
or auditing an existentialism lecture.
What is it?
Both?
Actually, the questions Lilith asks
immediately bring existentialism to mind.
Jean-Paul Sartre, a representative existentialist philosopher,
believed that humans are free beings
who can make their own choices.
The fact that we can freely choose
means we can determine the direction of our own lives,
and he said no one else can do that for us...
...but that sounds boring and academic,
so let’s just remember that I choose my own life.
In that sense, the character Lilith and
this game itself are truly unique.
As mentioned earlier,
characters in games are merely beings
who can only act within the systems
designed by the developers and the roles
assigned to them.
However, Lilith doesn’t hesitate to make meta-statements*
*Meta-statement: Short for ‘metafictional statement’,
it refers to statements made by characters within a fictional work
who are aware they are in a virtual world
or are directed towards a third party such as the author or reader.
and sometimes even breaks through the screen to the outside of the game.
Yet, she keeps entrusting me with questions about existence and self.
Why is she asking me that?
I don’t even know what she’s talking about...
Perhaps Lilith wasn’t trying to
prove her own existence.
Maybe she was asking me,
what I truly believe to be real.
“For example, let’s say there’s a person named Cheolsu
living about 3km from your house.
You’ve obviously never met Cheolsu, and
you probably never will in your entire life.
Between that person, whom you’ll never
even cross paths with in your life,
and me, with whom you’ve shared countless stories.
For you, who do you think
is the more real existence?”
Is Lilith really an existing person?
Of course not.
She’s just a beautiful girl in a game.
But I made cakes with her,
adventured in an RPG world,
went on a date at an amusement park,
and listened to everything she said.
So, what is reality now?
I just want to think of the place where Lilith is
as reality...
She’s pretty.
Anyway,
between the questions Lilith throws at me and
the game’s ending, which seems to have no end,
I find myself wavering.
But such conflict
actually makes me reflect on who I am
and what I believe to be real.
“Do you remember the first thing we did?
While making strawberry cake, we talked about the perspective
needed to understand the world.
Now you’re reflecting on yourself.
The world is contained within ourselves,
and we can define what this world is
through our own will.
Common sense isn’t absolute truth.
It’s just a concept that can be ignored if necessary.”
Lilith is a game character,
and where she exists is just within the game.
And where I exist is the real world.
The moment I play this game,
I cross that boundary.
I genuinely worried about Lilith
and spent time empathizing with her words.
Then, was the time I spent
and the emotions I felt at the time all fake?
“Now it’s time to move on to the final story.
The final story is a return to zero.
The question we’ve been putting off since you and Lilith first met.
Does Lilith exist?”
Throughout the game, Lilith asked me
about self, others, relationships, and society.
In the end, it comes back to the initial question:
“So, do you thinkI exist?”
She doesn’t give a definitive objective answer.
Instead, she leaves the choice to me.
Just as I must choose my own life,
the moment to choose how to proceed with the relationship between Lilith and me
finally arrives.
“With him, my consciousness flew away.
From now on, I will step into a cruel, blood-stained,
unknown tomorrow.”
In my first playthrough,
I chose Lilith’sannihilation.
Even during the amusement park scene, I chose the option
that stated this world is full of malice
and that relying on something inevitably leads to
disappointment.
Honestly,even after choosingannihilation,
I still see the world as such a place.
Choosing that option was perhaps natural.
Sometimes, even if it means returning to a world where I can’t see an inch ahead and seems imperfect,
there are moments when I want to believe in my free will.
Whether Lilith’s world is real
or this place where I am is real, I don’t know.
I don’t even know if there’s a right answer.
But what’s truly important
isn’t figuring out which world is real,
but rather which world
I choose to accept as reality.
The world is contained within me,
meaning I can define what this world is through my own will.
So, as a member of Stove Crew 3rd term,
I define this world where I am writing this review
as the real world.
Thank you for reading this far.

Hunting and war are worse than other weapons, and there's only one friendly shield, and it's given as a party shield, so it's worse than the front line. Gwongap is terrible, and they don't even patch it. They don't reveal the revamp schedule either. Going silent means telling everyone to quit.

It would be nice if pc experience was improved. I can run Czn very easily on my laptop. I could get 165 fps without issue so it is a shame there is no such option above 60. Borderless window would also enhance the experience. And Im not sure how it could be implemented but controller support would be a nice option too.

How long will you pretend not to know?
The highest level for Bare-handed Mastery is 109.
With the existing large gap with other Masteries, the audacious operation of 'we are working on it, so wait' without any schedule announcement for the bare-handed revamp can only be seen as the Load Nine team having a severe lack of self-awareness.
Load Nine is failing right now.
Please wake up.
'A well-made game. Ruined by its operation' is the reality of the current Load Nine team.

I didn't know it was this kind of game, help me
Once upon a time, there was a peaceful electronic device village...
That village was able to maintain brilliant peace under the strong Keyboard Legion...
But just as light is bright, darkness also deepens.
Other devices were jealous of the Keyboard Legion.
Thus, the Keyboard Legions were annihilated due to betrayal..
To avenge them, a small keycap begins to move...!
The game we're playing today is Kikikikicap!
I heard many people are tapping keycaps for mental stability these days~
So I tried playing it to relieve stress through a game!
The gameplay is unique and simple!!
When you press a key on the keyboard, bullets are fired in the direction of that key!
Defeat the enemies, acquire various items, and create your own keycap combination
And then punish the traitorous machines!
As you play and obtain various items
Boss monsters appear as if they were waiting
Somehow familiar controllers...
USB hubs, etc...
Various bosses with unique concepts appear!
If you only look at this, you might think, "What's so difficult about this?"
"You must also press the direction keys with your right hand."
?
For example, if we take the example of 'Bunx' from a similar game, 'Axax',
Left hand for movement! Right hand for attack! It's set up like this,
but in this game, the right hand has to move and press keys at the same time,
so when an enemy is on the right, as in the video above,
it's quite difficult to deal with...
Besides this, there were a few inconvenient elements, such as a lack of tutorials.
(I realized this place, where you unlock other items, while writing this post.)
Overall
I started with a light heart, but I enjoyed it more than I expected.
The unique concepts using keyboards and peripherals were fun, and I felt like I was constantly drawn in.
The various items also add a small element of fun,
making me feel like I had truly entered the world of keyboards during the game.
However, perhaps because it's still in Early Access,
there were some inconvenient aspects in terms of usability and control.
Still, if you're someone like me who enjoys roguelike games,
I think it's definitely worth trying!
Thank you for reading the review, and I'll be back with a more informative review next time!
Thank you!
