그냥 이 게임은 미쳤습니다.
제가 군대에 있을 때 이 게임이 나온다는 영상을 본 적이 있는데 그 때 당시 스토리가 너무 마음에 들어서 전역하면 꼭 해봐야겠다는 생각이 먼저 들었습니다. 이때는 이 게임의 장르가 뭔지 제대로 모르고 스토리만 보고 해보고 싶다는 생각 뿐이었습니다.
그리고 전역 후 막상 이 게임이 나오니 JRPG와 소울류의 패링과 회피 그리고 QTE가 첨가된 장르라는 것을 알고 더더욱 흥미가 생겨 다른 분들의 리뷰를 보고 저도 해보게 되었습니다.
그래서 어느 플랫폼에서 구매하는 게 좀 더 좋을까 여러 플랫폼들을 비교해보던 와중에 스토브에서 이 게임을 배급하고 있다는 사실을 알게 되었고, 마침 또 할인쿠폰까지 적용이 되는 걸 보고 스토브에서 구매하는 것으로 결정했습니다. (원래 게임 가격 자체도 할인+스토브 할인+네이버 페이 적립금 할인까지)
평소에도 JRPG 장르를 좋아하기도 했고 소울류 게임 중 하나인 '세키로'를 정말 재밌게 플레이 해봤었기 때문에 나름 패링에 자신 있었습니다. 하지만 막상 게임에 들어가니 패링 타이밍이 워낙 빡빡하더군요..ㅋㅋ 그래서 더 오기가 붙어 타이밍을 점점 잘 맞추기 시작하니 패링의 맛이 너무 좋은거 아니겠습니까? 이 맛 때문이라도 이 게임을 플레이 할 가치는 충분하다고 생각했습니다. (개인적으로 세키로보다 훨씬 더 재밌는 거 같음)
또한, 이런 게임을 플레이 하는데 스토리가 재미가 있어야 하지 않겠습니까? 저는 평소에 '스킵충' 이라고 할 만큼 스토리는 과감히 넘기는 편인데 이 게임의 스토리는 저 같은 '스킵충' 들도 몰입하게 만들어 줬습니다. 또한 스토리 내용 뿐만 아니라 압도적인 배경 음악이 제 자신을 게임에 더 몰입 시켜주는 효과가 있었습니다.
덕분에 오랜만에 엘든링. 세키로를 뛰어넘는 정말 재밌는 게임을 해본 것 같네요!
