Today, I am back with a contest review.

It wasn't my intention, but since I started from the top, I ended up doing a male character review yesterday and a female character review today.

By the way, it seems like there are a lot of really unique concepts this time.

In every profession, there is at least one thing that makes you think, 'Wow, something this amazing is on the main page?'

Let's take a look right now at what's there.

Female Hunter, also known as Gunsul.

Starting with rider suits and bunny pajamas, it ends with avatars with a military feel.

Personally, I found the third to fifth military sensibilities to be different and fun.

It feels like looking at the Air Force, Navy, and Army(?).

In the past, there were many works with significant exposure, but the relatively 'wrapped' appearance was also a point of interest.

Of course, whether you wear it or not, as long as it's pretty, that's fine.

In that context, all five are unique and pretty, which is nice.

This time it's the long-awaited Cylinder.

If up until now it had a light and airy feel, this time the style is definitely different.

It stands out with a variety of feels, including street, uniform, pajamas(?), and authentic wizardry.

Personally, I liked the fifth fantasy wizard feel.

The other clothes were really pretty too, but the fifth one really struck a chord with me as a fantasy nerd.

LoA secretly doesn't have a fantasy-like avatar like that.

I think that if I had to sum up Darren's work this year in one word, it would be 'Darren-like.'

It felt like everyone was interpreting 'Dareunseureopda' differently.

It wouldn't look awkward if Payton or Kurzan's Darren were to pick one and wear it right now.

And Darren's flower is, after all, a weapon.

There are plenty of corners where weapons like swords, daggers, and scythes can look pretty.

This time, there were a lot of weapons that felt like wings, and they were so pretty that I immediately exclaimed, "Wow."

Every time a contest is held, I get stronger... I wonder if it's okay to give up 3rd place.

It's such a shame that only one is chosen because they are all so pretty.

Even without it, any clothes would suit her well, and now the designs are by talented people.

It was impressive because it had a good mix of concepts and cuteness, such as raincoats, pajamas, weddings, and gothic.

I was particularly impressed by the third one.

I even used it as a thumbnail.

The average playtime for the game to see the ending is said to be around 30 hours!

This is my playtime, I cleared up to "Ancient Sanctuary".

Of course I will write a review soon and run more. (Real)

I played it for a relatively short time, but I'll try to write down the impressive points in a short but bold way during that short playtime.

Graphics

Let me get straight to the point.

Honestly, I started playing this game because of the graphics.

As a gamer who really likes subculture and cartoon style, I don't really do these kinds of realistic things.

ex) Games I play : Elsword, Honkai Impact: Starrail, Overwatch, etc.

Games I don't play well : Elden Ring, Lost Ark, etc.

Which axis do you think "Claire Obscur" is closer to?

No matter how you look at it, it's a "realistic" game, right?

The biggest reason I don't play realistic graphic games is because of the 'uncanny valley'.

However, despite being graphics, the graphics of this game gave me a naturalness that surpassed that valley.

Huh? It's definitely a graphic... Huh? It looks like a video of an actual phenomenon taken with a camera... But I don't feel the uncanny valley...?

I'd be lying if I said the game had no flaws.

However, I was able to endure the complaints about the shortcomings that will be described later because of the graphics.

But the animation was a bit... there were a lot of funny motions.

(But it was fast and refreshing, so I passed. I thought it would be a really fun mountain moment)

As you can see, it is a turn-based game, but it has a unique system that allows you to evade or counterattack (counterattack) during the enemy's attack turn.

The difficulty of parrying was similar to other parrying games I've played (it was hard).

Obviously, you're playing the same game, but you clear the game with your own skill build.

First of all, from what I understand...

Pictos - Basic additional skill item slot

Lumina - An item that allows you to equip additional skills even if the item slot is exceeded.

Nebron - A "monster" within the game world.

Jestral - Residents of the 'Ancient Sanctuary'. Most are in the form of wooden dolls, and their sizes vary.

Gomazu - The "age curse" of the game's world.

As the story progresses, not only the main character Gustave,

I was only able to recruit Rune, Mael, and Ciel (.....) as companions. The character "Monoko" is so attractive that I'm going to write a review and go back to recruit her.)

You can recruit them and form a party. You can form a party of up to three people, and even if the party loses the battle, you can fight a "preliminary battle" (a desperate battle called Wonkozomyo ) with the remaining expedition members.

And if you look at the photo above, the members of my expedition team are dressed up very nicely, right? ^^

This is not a basic skin, but an "additional costume." I'm not sure if it's included in the basic version or if it's because it's the deluxe edition that includes the costume, but as a gamer who prioritizes character design when playing a game, I really like this kind of small costume system.

Why is Mael so bloody?

Haha.. In this game, the less HP your expedition members have, the more likely it is that the expedition will be stricken.

If you look closely, you can see that the Rune on the left has only about half of its HP left, so it has a little bit of blood on it.

Three-dimensional expedition characters, friendly/hostile characters with unique personalities

The explanation of the world view progresses very quickly from the beginning. The photo above shows the expedition team right after they left for the expedition.

Most of the expedition went missing (..) and the main character, Gustave, was about to make an extreme choice due to his sense of loss.

This is the point where Rune casts "Wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and gives them some mental education before joining and fighting the first monster.

Each character had a very distinct personality, so the story was enjoyable to watch.

This is the mysterious ghost, 'Curator', who became friends with 'Mael' at the mansion before 'Mael' joined the expedition.

Ah.. this design.,..... It's quite my style. It's so cool..

After the first interaction, he appears as an NPC who strengthens your weapons and stats during "camping".

This is a friend called "Eskie" who can be found from the ancient sanctuary.

He may be big and distracting, but his speech and actions are just all cute.

It's a great means of transportation (..).

You can't miss it in turn-based games.

A monster appears that must be caught using a "special gimmick".

Instead of monsters that you can just beat up and solve, monsters with special gimmicks like the one in the picture will appear. (I've only seen Petanque so far while playing, but I'm going to play with the expectation that there will be more.)

Petanque has 8 shields, and if Gustave Rune Mael continues to pass turns and hit one at a time, Petanque, who takes three turns,

He ends up running away.

So, after using skill points but not counting turns, use "Aim" > "Shoot" to remove the Petanque shield as much as possible.

I made a deal and gave him 1 tcl!

I feel like my intelligence has improved since I started playing petanque. (Or not)

+ You can also meet the 'Zestrals' who live there from the "Ancient Sanctuary". They look like wooden dolls but they are alive. They were wary of the expedition team in the beginning, so they brought a giant potato(?) weapon to fight the expedition team. They had a hard time fighting, but the story itself was really cute. Haha.

An unusual but engaging storyline.

Very natural and beautiful graphics.
