Ciel is a character who deals extreme damage with the 'Prophecy' stack and the 'Twilight' state mechanism.

But! What if you use Ciel like this as a supporter? A new world will open up.

Of course, Ciel is a great character to use as a dealer.

Even if you think you're being fooled and use him as a support, you'll definitely be satisfied.

Do you see Mael receiving the Ciel buff and hitting with '5 attacks' for 9999 damage each?

Moreover, it deals 9934 damage even though it is not a critical hit.

That's the work of supporter Ciel.

You can put anything on.

I gave my in-laws money to increase my survival skills.

If he dies, the party will be in trouble.

I don't remember exactly, but I think it was a weapon that appears after Act 2.

Technology deployment

Ready: Grants all allies Rush (increased speed), Shell (damage reduction), and Strength (increased damage).

Lucky Fury: Double damage buff for designated allies

Dark Purification: Purifies all allies' status

Interference: Target ally takes immediate action and gains 4 AP.

Mark Card: Deals damage to enemies and places a mark on them.

Sealed Fate: Sometimes a supporter has to deal damage. This is a damage-dealing tool for those times.

This setting is pretty much fixed.

It can be used differently depending on the situation.

The 'Sealed Fate' at the very bottom can be replaced with another dealing machine.

Pictos / Lumina

Pictos: Wear something that costs a lot of Luminar points or has tanking/speed stats.

Essential Luminar: Start of Vitality, Turn of Vitality (You can wear Turn of Vitality if it comes later)

Luminar would be nice to have:

- Support strengthening lumina such as long-term strengthening, long-term shell, etc.

- AP acquisition Lumina, such as Vitality Strike, Combo Attack, etc.

  - Lumina, who pulls the turn like a preemptive strike

(In the same context, the 'speed' stat is very important)

How to operate

Mob Battle:

- Filling other dealer AP with 'interference' (ex. Rune, Mael)

- Sweep away the enemy camp with high AP skills

Boss Battle:

- Gives a buff to all allies with 'Ready'

- Increase damage with 'Lucky Fury' and 'Sign Card' as needed

- Actively use 'items' on turns when AP is empty or there is nothing to do

The claim in the title that it is twice as strong is definitely not an exaggeration.

The damage output of other area dealers and single dealers is truly sky-high.

Also, Ciel's skill structure is good because it matches well with any dealer.

There's no way it wouldn't be good to fill up AP with can buff paint.

The downside is that if Ciel dies, the party power will drop drastically.

Other dealers also often take Ciel into consideration when setting up their games.

So, it is recommended that you either focus on survival or avoid patterns.

Hello, I'm back with my fourth journal entry.

Today I met a boss, a bishop, who suddenly started acting cute.

I'll write a playthrough and a brief strategy guide.

I have something to say about spoilers.

1. If there is no plot twist to the boss fight, and it is a friend that suddenly appears, I will just use it.

2. I'll just include the characters that join, as long as their mere existence isn't a big spoiler.

However, it seems difficult to mosaic all the bosses and characters that will join.

However, if there are enough spoilers for the story, I will edit them out.

Past story

I encountered the chromatic spearman and got hit by his spears dozens of times, but I somehow cleared it.

The expedition's journey takes them to the end of the 'Spring Pastures' where they are located....

As you reach the end of the spring pasture, a boss suddenly appears.

The name is 'Bishop'

This is the first boss monster you will encounter while playing.

When you first encounter it, it blows away tree roots as a spell.

It's so majestic that it makes you cringe.

When dealing with a bishop, there is only one thing to remember.

'Never be afraid'

Let's go again.

Casting a spell is easy to learn the timing after watching it once or twice.

Just press the button when you hear the sound "thud - thud - thud! "

Then, the expedition team counters as a group.

You can dodge it, but I recommend just countering it since it's a very easy pattern to counter.

The Bishop's patterns include spells, summoning trash mobs, two-handed attacks, and one-handed attacks.

In fact, you just need to know the timing for orders, and you can deal with the mobs on your own.

One-handed attacks are also easy to avoid because the timing is accurate.

However, dual-handed attacks are a bit tricky.

Bottom line is, 'see and avoid.'

The attacks come out in a staggered manner, so if you predict them, you'll definitely hit.

When your eyes are wide open and your arms are bent inward, press to strike or dodge.

By the way, those numerous shields can be removed with Gustav's multi-heat attack.

If you have any leftover Rune AP, you can shoot them.

If the battle drags on, the bishop will occasionally recharge (I haven't seen him use it early on).

This is a very rare pattern, but when it enters the charging state, a very strong attack comes during the next bishop's turn.

But it doesn't come out unless it lasts quite a long time.

If you watch the exploding motion carefully and dodge, you will probably... be able to avoid it.

I don't know the details because I died from the shock wave.

Anyway, I cleared it right away.

But evasion is more of a scam than you think, folks.

If you're not sure, just press evade.

I insisted on kicking and ended up increasing the try time by 1.5 times.

After capturing the bishop, you will leave the 'Spring Pastures' map you were on and come out to the continent.

As you might have guessed, Claire Obscur's map is divided into 'continents' and 'regions'.

Most stories and battles take place in 'regions'.

Continents can be thought of as mere passageways between regions.

What makes the continent different from the region is that camping is possible like this.

During the camp, you can watch side stories or strengthen your expedition through NPCs that will be added later.

Anyway, since you have to go there in the middle of the story even if you don't want to, let's just know it.

This is what is meant by the continent being a passageway.

As you move across the continent, you will find portals like this in each region.

If you go in here, you can enter the area right away.

For reference, the area I am entering is the 'air water area', which is the stage for the next story.
