However, there are not many games that deal with the process of making those items. In this article, I will introduce indie games that deal with the theme of brewing.

Since you have to go through the process of mixing ingredients, fermenting, and making alcohol step by step, games that deal with brewing are often simulation games. Today, let's find out which games will help you find the fun in brewing.

The first game I'm going to introduce to you is Brewmaster: Beer Brewing Simulator. As the name suggests, it's a beer brewing simulator game where you can make beer. The unique thing about this game is that it doesn't just let you click and click on the ingredients for beer, but it actually lets you follow the entire process of making beer.

In Brewmaster: Beer Brewing Simulator, you have to do the whole process yourself, starting from selecting ingredients like malt and hops, to boiling and fermenting. You have to choose the right keg, work at the right temperature for the right amount of time to get the right finished product, so anyone who is curious about the beer brewing process can roughly understand it just by playing this game.

Brewmaster's first indie game with a brewing theme, which didn't gain much popularity because it was implemented so realistically that there were quite a few reactions saying that they didn't want a beer brewing game this serious.

The second game is Traveller's Rest. It is a simulation game with dot graphics, and you can encounter brewing-related content while running an inn in a fantasy world. Since there is an image that comes to mind when you think of an inn in a fantasy setting, I think it is a natural fit.

Before unlocking the higher-level liquors, you can only brew simple ones, but once they're all unlocked, you'll be able to brew quite a few different types of liquors. You'll need to sell them all to customers, and since you're selling them anyway, you'll want to sell liquors that give you more profit at a time, so for efficiency's sake, you won't be brewing lower-level liquors.

Since the process is not complicated, it is one of the games where you can enjoy simple brewing, where you just put in the ingredients and wait for it to be completed, rather than the overly tight brewing. There are also many other things to pay attention to, so it is fortunate that you can make alcohol this easily.

The third game is Hundred Days Winemaking Simulator. This game focuses solely on wine and grape wine, rather than allowing you to make various alcoholic beverages, including beer. If you like grape wine, this game is quite fun to play.

You can get an idea of the approximate value of the finished wine by looking at how much it costs per bottle. You can indirectly experience how European winemakers work by continuously growing their wineries to produce higher-value wines.

The fourth game is Ale Abbey, a simulation game where you can enjoy brewing beer in a monastery. This game is highly rated by those who enjoy beer a little more deeply because you can brew monastery beer, which is something you cannot help but know.

First of all, it is a game where you can feel the freshness of having to secure a space for prayer in a monastery, and you can follow how seriously brewing was done in the monastery. Another feature is that the process is detailed in a higher level than you might think.

Although it may be considered more relaxed than Brewmaster, it is not an easy brewing game, so if you are interested in beer, you can say that Ale Abbey is a brewing-themed game that you can enjoy sufficiently.

The final fifth game is Ale & Tail Tavern. This is a game where you run an inn in a fantasy world like Traveler's Rest, but it has the difference that you can enjoy it cooperatively with other players.

It's a game where you can enjoy the fun of a management simulation by running a tavern on the first floor, making and selling various alcoholic beverages, and at the same time satisfying customers with various tastes, but you can also feel a bit of a survival game because you have to procure all the ingredients yourself.

By dividing the work with friends, one person can take charge of brewing and continue making alcohol, but it is better to start by gathering ingredients together, so it is a game where all users playing can enjoy the fun of brewing.

Games like Tapper that approach drinks by serving them to customers, or games that bring in alcohol as part of recovery items or as a trade item like in Age of Exploration, have been around for a long time, so the presence of alcohol itself may not be a special feature, but the fact that you can enjoy the act of making alcohol by bringing in the concept of brewing can be a definite feature.

There are many games, including Stardew Valley, where you can make money by just clicking and waiting to make alcohol.
