I posted about my visit to the Illustrator Festival last Saturday.
It's hard to see our crew members unless it's Crew Day...🥲
I received an invitation to the Illustrator Festival!! I went to see it with Se-min!!
And actually... that was the first time we filmed a video that day!! (embarrassing)
While I was there, I wondered what the stove booth that the crew members saw was like.
I wanted to tell you what the game was like, so I filmed it once 0_<
It's my first time so I'm really awkward,,, actually I'm not that excited ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ (awkward)
There are things that make me feel really awkward when I stand in front of the camera ㅠㅠ

벚꽃은 화면 속에서, 더욱 선명하게 피어 있었다.
요즘은 밖에 나가기도 쉽지 않다.
시간도, 날씨도, 마음도.
그래서 나는, 스팀을 켰다.
그리고 ‘러쉬포일 포토그래피 심’을 다운로드했다.
이 게임은 사진을 찍는 것, 그 자체에 모든 걸 집중한 시뮬레이션이다.
단순히 스크린샷을 찍는 게 아니라,
카메라를 들고 진짜 '풍경을 사냥하는 느낌'을 준다.
일본의 한 신사.
언리얼 엔진 5로 구현된 현실적인 배경에
흩날리는 벚꽃잎이 화면을 물들이는 순간,
나는 한참을 멈춰 셔터를 누르지 못했다.
📸 초점은 수동으로,
📸 조리개는 f/2.8로 낮게,
📸 색온도는 따뜻하게,
📸 그리고 살짝 역광으로…
벚꽃의 여린 잎맥까지 잡아낼 수 있었다
‘러쉬포일 포토그래피 심’은
진짜 사진을 찍듯,
모든 설정을 내가 컨트롤할 수 있다.

그리고 무엇보다…
카메라 뒤에서 바라보는 풍경이 너무도 고요하다.
마치 진짜 카메라를 들고,
봄날의 벚꽃을 담고 있는 그 느낌 그대로.
일본뿐 아니라
아이슬란드, 호주, 이탈리아 등
각국의 아름다운 장소가 등장한다.
현실에서 가기 어려운 그곳을
드론을 띄우거나, 배를 타고 찾아갈 수도 있다.
그 속에서 벚꽃만큼 따뜻한 풍경을 찾게 되면,
왠지 모를 위로가 밀려온다.
현직 사진작가들도 이 게임을 극찬했다고 한다.
그 이유를 이제는 알겠다.
이건 단순히 ‘게임’이 아니다.
‘내가 보는 것’을 기록하고,
그 안에서 마음을 잠시 놓아보는
하나의 감정의 통로다.
그리고 나는 오늘,
그 안에서 벚꽃 한 장을 찍었다.
조용하지만, 따뜻한 하루였다.
