With the whole Operation Zieg event I see way too many people hating on SG for trying to give players what they might need to help them progress. It makes sense to give older players gear, because we've been playing longer and have more units. It makes sense to give new players more RNG units because they need to build up their roster more than anything.
What isn't okay is going around advertising a live stream where you say everyone can get up to a certain amount of items, and setting expectations knowing full well that isn't the case. Making an event post where you continue to not explain the situation, and even editing said post to make a vague mention that shops will be different depending on certain conditions but still continuing to willingly hide the fact that the rewards you advertised will not be given to everyone.
This is another case of SG willingly misleading their players and then turning around and going "Oh! But we only said max. Not that everyone is going to have a chance to get the max." If you're upset and you want to pressure them put pressure where it's rightfully deserved. Go after the clearly misleading marketing, not your missing elemental summons and a few random 5 star tickets we weren't promised to begin with.

Yeah. I'm glad I've seen some of the bigger figures start to look at the situation more clearly at least. Even Tristen started out with "If you go over to your buddies house and they give you a PBR you don't get ****** you got a free crappy beer." but shifted to "If your friend invites you over for a Yuengling and hands you a PBR saying 'Oh. The Yuenglings are just for the people I want to impress.' You have the right to be pissed." when trying to explain the situation.
i dont trust tristen. hes a peoples pleaser. he would have sang a different tune if the majority of the community werent mad about origin shop.
I'm honestly not too sure on that one. I've seen more people ****** off about not getting the same rewards as newbies than I have people being upset about just not getting what was advertised. I'd think if you were going to side with the masses you'd go full bore about the split shops rather than taking the reasonable approach, but that's just me. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions.
