[Protest] – Violation of ‘Road Nine’ operating philosophy and demand for official response
Recipient: Smilegate, NX3 GAMES
Title: Request for explanation of violation of 'Road Nine' operating philosophy and call for future response
I am a user who enjoys your MMORPG **'Lord Nine'**.
The '5 operating philosophies' revealed at the 2025 announcement were a promise based on trust with users. However, the recent updates and your company's response directly violate that promise, and are causing serious distrust and backlash throughout the user community.
[Items that are violated among the 5 operating philosophies that your company promised]
Probabilistic Item Stress Relief💬 Despite the fact that many users have repeatedly pointed this issue out through the official community and customer center, your company has not yet made any official statement.
[Requirements]
Clear and official statement of position on violation of operating philosophy Provide transparent explanations and fix plans for issue updates (e.g. introduction of artifact probabilities) Announcement of a plan to maintain practical compensation and future operating philosophy to restore user trust
[Official Warning – Call for Legal Responsibility]
If your company continues to ignore legitimate complaints and questions from users, this may be a violation of the following laws. If we determine that there is no official response, we will take the following actions:
[Countermeasures]
File a formal complaint or complaint with the Korea Consumer Agency, Fair Trade Commission, or other relevant organizations. Review legal procedures, including claims for damages, in cooperation with consumer rights groups and legal advisory agencies. Launching a press release and protest campaign with the User Community Alliance I don't want to attack or harm 'Lord Nine'.
However, promises must be kept, and fair and responsible operation is what all users expect.
Your silence may be interpreted as a possible violation of law rather than a choice.
I hope the operating philosophy at the time of the showcase wasn't just a marketing slogan.
We look forward to a sincere explanation and a changed response.
thank you

Lineage Like Game Don't make the mistake of following Lineage. Don't lose your original intention. Please keep the promise you made. You said that the lottery is only for avatars, and then less than a year later... Are you going to add lottery for mounts next time? The game lives only when users remain. What you're talking about is preserving value. Come to your senses. What will help the company? You know it's boring and lacking content? Do some research on content. Don't just research what you're going to sell to increase sales.

on a completely different game. I woke up this morning, saw this absolute unapologetic shitstorm, closed the game, opened Raid and gave them $5 just for not being absolutely abusive and disrespectful in their pricing. The trash meme game that people like to bash on is doing a better job than $G when it comes to respecting their players and making a game worth playing over a game worth selling. Let that sink in.
This was such a simple layup there was no reason to screw it up this badly. All it would have taken was slapping it in the shop with a reasonable price tag and it would have just been another case of some people being upset, but the community as a whole being generally unmoved. Instead they decided to do the absolute dumbest thing possible and tack on every offense they could find. Multi-tier pay pass? Check. Broken items you're forced to buy if you don't have everything (including things not even vaguely related to the packs)? Check! Trying to say a basic skin is worth a full AAA game while doing less than other gacha skins that are priced at half of the straight up price? Check!
I know what some people are saying though! "It's just a skin! Quit overreacting! If you don't wanna pay, just leave already!" The whole thing is, this isn't just a skin. It's a sequence of issues that just keeps building unchecked because people keep standing up for it. Remember when we got that fun little "Once in a lifetime!" gear pack? That wasn't bad, it just once! Until it happened again, but ya know it's just for ML5's, that's not bad. Until it happened for covenant heroes. Remember that fun little Tori event that they surely weren't going to force people to pay for "free" rewards from? Remember how they did, in fact, make us pay in skystones and cash to max out the event? Now they want to do a predatory pass to introduce the idea of paid skins? They're pushing with more and more predatory ******** until we put a stop to it.
I know a lot of people just want to see the skin in the shop, but I don't think that's enough of an apology for the level of crap they've been pulling. If they're really sorry for being this disrespectful they'll take the L, pass out some real compensation, and either make the skin free, or put it for reduced skin tickets as a price. I honestly think they've pushed far enough on this that we can't accept the normal "Oh god. We're sorry we hurt your feefees, here's six leifs and a galaxy bookmark. Be happy." this time around. They've screwed up, and they need to accept the weight of their excessive greed or it's just going to keep happening and getting worse with every attempt we let slide.
Awesome, I also purchased a few indie games for the price of this 1 skin.
