The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is called the best RPG game and is still played by many gamers even after a long time since its release. This remastered version of Oblivion has been released by surprise . There have been rumors recently that a remastered version is in development, but The community was turned upside down by the two words "Available Today" that were adorned at the end of the first public trailer .
Oblivion, a masterpiece that stole many people's sleep and time in the past. This remastered version features much more advanced, modern graphics and physics, thanks to the move to Unreal Engine 5. 요즘따라 기대했다가 실망을 많이 하는 감고양이입니다. 이번에 소개할 게임은 'ORDER 13[오더 13]'이라고 하는 인디, 생존, 공포 게임입니다. 이 게임을 알게 되고 플레이하게 된 계기는 itch.io에서 우연히 이 게임을 발견하였고 데모 버전을 다운로드하고 플레이해 보니 꽤 잘 만든 게임이어서 정식 출시일에 게임을 구매, 다운, 플레이하게 되었습니다.
그럼 본격적으로 제 생각을 말하기 앞서 이 게임의 플레이 영상 먼저 보여드리도록 하겠습니다.

리뷰
데모 버전을 해봤다면 굳이 할 필요 없는 게임이었습니다. 데모 버전에서 보여준 것이 실질적으로 전부였으니까요.
우선 게임의 스토리... 가 아닌 컨셉은[괴물이 나오는 창고에서 반려묘와 함께 생활하는 주인공이 살아남기 위해 그리고 탈출하기 위해 택배를 보낸다.] 정도로 요약이 가능했습니다.
상점 페이지를 보면 무슨 '주문이 늘어나면, 창고의 더 깊은 구역을 잠금 해제하고 불편한 비밀을 파헤치세요.'라고 해서 '와 정식 버전에는 스토리가 추가되나 보다!!!'라고 생각했었는데... 무슨 실험실 혹은 시체 안치실처럼 꾸며진 인사과와 탈출 코드만 있을 뿐 스토리는 실질적으로 존재하지 않았고 엔딩도 그냥 텍스트로 3줄 끄적여놓은 게 끝이었습니다.
게임의 조작 방법은 간단했습니다. WASD로 이동, F로 아이템 사용(스캐너, 손전등), 좌측 Shift로 대시, 마우스로 상호작용 등이었으며 키보드와 마우스를 사용하는 게임들에서 자주 사용되는 배열이기도 하고 눌러야 하는 버튼의 수가 적다 보니 조작 방법이 간단하면서 적응하기도 쉬웠습니다.
게임의 진행 방식 역시 간단했습니다. [괴물이 나오는 창고에서 정해진 물건을 찾아 택배를 보낸다.]로 요약이 가능했으니까요.
게임의 시스템은... 기본적으론 잘 만들어져있었습니다. 날이 갈수록 플레이어의 활동 범위를 증가시켜 추적자를 만날 확률과 공포 연출을 볼 확률을 증가시켜 게임의 긴장감을 유지시켰고 고양이가 외로워 죽는다는... 다소 짜증 나는 이유로 시간제한에 타당한 이유?를 제공했으니까요.(근데 공포 연출이 매우 부족하고 추적자도 돌려써서 할수록 지루했습니다.)
게임의 그래픽은 3D 그래픽으로 무서운 분위기를 잘 표현해 내었다고 생각되었습니다.
사운드의 경우... '속았다'라는 느낌이 들었습니다. 거의 대부분의 BGM과 사운드는 그냥 있을 곳에 다 있다 정도였기에 넘어가고 왜 속은 걸로 느꼈냐면... 이 게임은 고양이의 게이지가 특정 % 이하로 떨어지면 고양이가 우는데 데모 버전에서는 그냥 일반 고양이가 울었다면, 정식 버전에서는 지금 당장이라도 괴물로 변할 것 같은 울음소리와 함께 매우 긴박한 BGM이 들리도록 변경이 되었습니다. 그러다 보니 '시간이 다 끝나면 괴물로 변하나?'. '괴물로 변해 플레이어를 쫓아온 뒤 플레이어를 찢어버리나?!!!'라고 생각했는데... 데모 버전과 동일하게 그냥 고양이가 죽었다면 끝내버리더군요.
버그는 안 고쳤습니다. 각종 물리엔진 버그(물건이 비정상적으로 움직이며 그것을 이용해 벽을 뚫을 수 있는 등), 추적자가 어딘가에 끼어버리는 버그 등 데모 버전에 있던 거 실질적으로 거의 다 넘어왔으며 심지어 정식 버전에서 백그라운드에서 게임이 종료되지 않는 버그(이로 인해 스팀 환불 시간이 초과될 수 있습니다.)와 더불어 최적화가 엉망이 되어있었습니다.(기존에는 VRAM을 4기가 정도 썼는데 이제는 그냥 혼자서 8기가 이상 사용합니다.)
장단점을 나누기 전 잡담을 좀 하자면... 실망스러운 게임이었습니다. 데모 버전에서는 나름 잘 만든 모습을 보여줬기에 이대로만... 괴물이나 공포 연출도 다양하게 추가하고 스토리도 추가한다면 매우 재밌는 공포 게임이 될 거라고 생각했습니다. 하지만 이 게임은 변한 게 실질적으로 없었습니다. 데모 버전을 플레이해 봤다면 굳이 게임을 살 필요가 없을 정도로 변한 게 거의 없었습니다.
-장점-
1. 게임성
-기. 본. 적. 인 게임성은 잘 만들어져있었습니다. ※억지스럽지만※ 고양이가 외로워 죽는다는 이유를 만들어 플레이어의 활동 시간에 정당한? 제한을 만들었고, 시간이 지날수록 먼 곳에 위치한 물건을 가져오게 하여 랜덤한 공포 연출 + 추적자를 만날 확률을 증가시켜 게임의 공포감과 긴장감을 유지시켰으니까요.
-단점-
1. 스토리(엔딩 포함)
-없었습니다. 상점에는 주인공이 일하는 회사의 어둡고 무서운 진실을 밝혀낼 듯이 적어놨는데 그런 거 없었습니다. 심지어 엔딩은 '며칠간 생존 끝에 탈출했지만 일부 괴물들이 주인공을 평생 쫓아다닐 거다.'라고 텍스트로 3줄 적은 게 끝이었기에 큰 실망감을 주었습니다.

2. 괴물
-옛날 막장드라마 중에 눈 밑에 점하나 찍었다고 다른 사람인 줄 아는 드라마가 존재하는데, 제작자가 그 드라마를 감명 깊게 본 게 아닐까 싶을 정도로 괴물이 똑같았습니다.
-1층에 등장하는 기본 괴물에 사슬 옷, 앞치마, 붕대 등 입혀놓고 각 층마다 괴물을 배치했는데 죽이는 연출, 패턴 등 그냥 똑같았습니다. 지하 2층의 경우 물에 잠겨져있기에 뭐가 다를까? 싶었는데 그냥 옷 입히기 게임도 아니고 옷만 다를 뿐 똑같더군요.(외형이 조금씩 다르긴 합니다.)
3. 연출
-우선 개수가 매우 적었습니다. 플레이 타임 4~5시간 중에 공포 연출은(살인마가 쫓아오는 거 제외) 한 손에 꼽을 정도로 매우 적었고 그것은 반복하는 형식으로 되어있었습니다.(5개 정도였습니다. 많아도 10개는 안되었고요.)
-또한 이해가 되지 않은 연출이 존재했는데, 대표적으로 고양이로, 위에서 말했다시피 기존과 달리 당장이라도 괴물로 변해서 플레이어를 찢을 것 같이 고양이가 울며 고양이의 인내심이 거의 바닥났다고 전용 BGM까지 들려주는데... 게이지가 바닥나도 아무런 연출 없이 '어 너 죽었어'라며 끝내버리더군요.

4. 플레이 타임
-모든 아이템을 모으고 지하실까지 가는데 약 4~5시간 정도 걸렸는데... 실질적으로 처음 5분간 했던 것의 반복이었습니다.
-또한 플레이 타임을 강제로 늘어트렸다고 생각되었는데, 이 게임에서 플레이어가 엔딩을 보려면 지하 2층에 있는 인사과의 문을 열고 그 안에 있는 탈출 코드를 본 뒤 탈출구에 탈출 코드를 적어야 했습니다. 이때 지하실로 가는 길은 플레이어가 '돈을 모아 구매'해야 하고 그렇게 들어가서 본 것은 아무런 연출도 없고, 1층에서 봤던 것과 별다를 바 없었기에 플레이 타임을 억지로 잡아 늘렸다는 느낌이 들었습니다.
마무리
마무리하겠습니다. 데모 버전에서 하나도 발전 안한 게임이었습니다. 물론 기본적인 게임성은 괜찮았습니다. 게임을 하는 동안 적절한 수준으로 긴장감을 유지시켜줬으니까요. 하지만 공포 게임에서 공포 연출이 매우 적고, 괴물의 생김새나 패턴도 무개성하며 스토리도 없는데 플레이 타임은 억지로 잡아 늘렸다는 느낌이 들어 실망스러운 게임이었습니다.
공포게임에서 인게임 길을 돈 주고 사게 하는 건 신선한 발상이군요 ㄷㄷㄷ
새롭긴한데 플레이타임을 억지로 늘리려고 하는 듯한 기분이 들었습니다.
기억상 맞다면 적어도 3일 이상 모아야하는 금액이였으니까요.
심장 마비올듯 ㄷㄷ
무섭긴 했습니다... 다만 뭐 괴물이 무섭다는 느낌이 아니라 이 게임은 날짜별로 세이브가 되는데, 마지막 하나정돈 괜찮지 않을까? 라는 생각에 도전하다가 죽을까봐 무서웠습니다.
짤만 보면 무서워 보이는데 스토리가 없다니 ㄷㄷㄷ
데모버전에선 뭔가 보여줄것같이 말했는데 정작 정식버전에선 보여준게 거의 없었습니다.
