Smilegate Entertainment (CEO Jang In-ah) announced that the ‘CFS (CROSSFIRE STARS, hereinafter CFS) 2025 Grand Final’, which determines the pinnacle of Crossfire global esports, will kick off on the 3rd (Wednesday) in Chengdu, China. This year's competition will be held for a total of 12 days until the 14th (Sunday), with 16 of the world's top teams competing fiercely for the top spot.

This competition will be held at the Chengdu Yangzijiang Studio until the group stage and playoff winner's match, and at the Damafang Financial Town Entertainment Center from the playoff loser's semi-final to the final. The total prize money is $1.43 million (approximately 2 billion won), with 4 teams from China, 3 teams from Brazil, 3 teams from Vietnam, 2 teams from the Philippines, 3 teams from EUMENA, and 1 team from North America participating.

This year, the tournament structure has been completely reorganized for the first time in CFS history. The first-place teams from major regions (China, Brazil, Vietnam, EUMENA) operating professional leagues advance directly to the playoffs, skipping the group stage. Accordingly, Twisted Minds, Al Qadsiah, Gaimin Gladiators, and ALL GAMERS have secured spots in the playoffs.

The group stage has been changed from the existing 4-team system to a 3-team system, greatly increasing the weight of each game. A total of 12 teams are divided into 4 groups to play a group league, and the first-place team from each group joins the playoff quarterfinals. The previously announced group assignments are composed of matchups that are more difficult to predict than before, raising fans' expectations.

A total of 4 matches will be held on the first day of the opening. In the first match, Team Stallions from the Philippines, which has recently emerged on the international stage, will face Swamp Gaming from the United States, which has reorganized its lineup. Attention is focused on whether Team Stallions will continue their upward trend this year in the opening game, or whether Swamp Gaming will create a reversal with its changed power.

During the competition period, offline promotions will also be held throughout Chengdu to commemorate CFS, where you can experience the Crossfire universe. At the Damafang Financial Town Entertainment Center, where the final will be held, an exhibition that realizes Black Widow and an experience-type content based on the actual game map are prepared, allowing users to experience mission performance and combat situations offline. In Dongjiao Memory (东郊记忆), a representative complex cultural space in Chengdu, an experience zone that combines games, brands, and markets is operated so that visitors can enjoy the heat of CFS throughout the city.
